About Us

Our Funfer story started after our kids were born. I’m Maria Fernanda, a full time mum that in another life “pre-kids” use to be a Vet and my husband George is a design engineer and general handyman. We have two beautiful kids, Nina and John.

With the desire to make our kids’ bedroom amazing and to welcome them into their little world I started to make some knitted names and decorations. Also with the need to keep the little ones entertained I started to make shadow puppets which became a big hit at our family play-time before bed.

With the motivation of friends and family we have now decided to share our hand crafted creations with the outside world. We hope they bring as much joy to you as they have for us and our children.
